Field Support Network
AES is constantly looking for ways to provide value-added services to our clients. Our engineering managers regularly visit facilities to develop ongoing working relationships with site management and the engineering crew. Meetings encourage interaction between staff members on a variety of topics and help update maintenance engineers in the latest trends and technologies.

Our centralized support staff utilizes the internet and technical publications and carefully monitors policy regulating agencies to stay a step ahead of our competitors. We attain the next level by offering:

Our vendor-client relationship begins with a well researched and detailed engineering operations manual including code and ordinance guidelines, safety equipment practices and administrative requirements. It also includes a self-audit inspection checklist for use by site maintenance staff.

Centralized Support Services
Able Engineering Services maintains a centralized administrative and support location, which helps reduce the administrative workload at the client facility. Central support services include:
- Customized and expanded payroll administration (benefits such as medical insurance, dental and vision plan, life insurance and 401k options)
- Automated preventive maintenance program
- Frequent client survey evaluations
- Able uses a computerized system for its preventive maintenance program. Once basic equipment data are collected at a site, the information is entered into the system at the main office. The system then automatically generates a detailed preventive maintenance program for each work site. The program is fluid in that existing work orders can be modified, new pieces of equipment added, or maintenance schedules changed. The AES preventive maintenance program also provides a detailed maintenance history for each piece of equipment in the data base. This information becomes especially important as the various pieces of equipment age.
Work Order Management System
Every facility should be prepared for the unexpected, such as unscheduled service requests. The number and nature of these requests are important for evaluating the effectiveness of scheduled maintenance programs and procedures. An exceptional volume of temperature complaints, for example, would alert management of a potentially serious problem with the building HVAC system. AES has developed software applications that track unscheduled work requests and the labor hours expended.
Project Management
Occasionally a "non-traditional" project may need to be developed. Able Engineering Services works diligently to support the engineering department in specialized project management scenarios, cooperating with the local staff in all particulars, no matter how complex the job.
