We restore and maintain all stone including marble, granite, limestone, travertine, and terrazzo. Floors, desk tops, vanity tops, and stone paneling are carefully refinished.

Liquids containing acids, including water, will etch the surface of stone. FAMCO craftsmen use diamond discs and polishes to expose a fresh stone surface, removing old finishes and etched and scratched surfaces. The result is a crystal clear surface, with full clarity and natural color of the stone revealed. We protect the stone with impregnators that penetrate the surface and provide resistance to staining.

Custom surfaces such as honed and eggshell finishes are meticulously created. Creams, poultices and powders are used to remove stains and generate brilliant finishes on stone surfaces.
